FTPT Presents The Aladdin Show at Weill Cornell/NYP
This is officially the final show at Weill Cornell and FTPT show for the Class of 2018. They are debuting The Aladdin Show to pass down to other classes and other schools wishing to bring more of a variety of shows to kids in hospitals as they teach therapeutic exercise choreography. Co-founders, Jenna Kantor and Katie Schmitt, will continue overseeing FTPT operations after graduation.
Columbia University DPT students are passionate about service, and actively work to add value to communities both near and far through volunteerism and outreach projects. Our student run group, Physical Therapy - Community Action Network (PT-CAN), exists to facilitate our involvement in projects that allow us to reach out to those in need, especially through the application of our professional training as student physical therapists.
By participating in programs such as pro-bono clinics and public health education campaigns we are able to not only make a difference within our community, but also gain professional experience and growth beyond the classroom, and are gifted with reminders of why we have chosen a career as healers and caregivers.
