Classmate Nailing it in the Dance World!

In the fall of 2017, Marissa Schaeffer will be presenting her research titled: "The Effect of a One-Time, Three-Hour Health Promotion Workshop on Young Competitive Dancers " with Dr. Laurel Daniels Abbruzzese at the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science Annual Conference. She will also present a movement session titled "The Art of Warming-Up" at both the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science and the National Dance Educator's Organization's Annual Conferences in Texas. The session will focus on safe, effective warm-up practice for dancers.
